Just in time for Valentine's Day, here are 50 reasons not to date a graphic designer. Like anyone needed more. A lot of these relfect a broad stereotype, but some of them certainly hit a nerve with me. I think Number 17, "They ask your opinion about everything but they do whatever they want." is true of a lot of people, but others, like Number 29 "They read comics," and Number 33 "Museums are their second home, I can definitely relate to.

There are more, of course. I stare at graphics and signs everywhere I go, and pick them apart mentally (not just menus). I will save all types of stuff that has artwork on it that I like, but I don't normally bring home "weird" products because I like the packaging (instead I'll take a picture of the packaging with my phone).

I don't know if all designers are obsessed with the latest technology, at least I'm not. And while my musical tastes are way out of the ordinary,I doubt that they're shared my many other designers. We don't all idolize obscure legends in our field, and we definitely don't all hate each other.
